Looking for Ambassadors

Spa Buzz Ambassadors are a volunteer, select group of industry professionals who are dedicated to the positive promotion of the spa industry. Serving as a liaison to the spa community, SB Ambassadors are on the forefront of spa industry happenings in their dedicated region.

Major responsibilities:

SBA’s play an integral role in facilitating the stewardship and acquisition of new participants. Through various Spa Buzz events and offerings, SBA’s serve as a valuable resource to potential and existing attendees. SBA’s demonstrate knowledge and experience in both the industry and the local community.

Duties

  • Attend all Spa Buzz events
  • Maintain contact with the Spa Buzz headquarters to communicate and share what takes place in the industry regionally
  • Assist with selection of event location as needed
  • Network and socialize as an advocate of The Spa Buzz with event guests to promote goodwill and community in the area
  • Promote the value of gathering together with other regional spa leader
  • Serve as a greeter, or possibly emcee at events, providing each attendee with a warm welcome and point of contact for guests
  • Provide a summary of all events, with a list of all attendees
  • Assist with gatherings that are conducive to the exchange of ideas and resources, in an open and friendly environment

Qualifications

  • It is necessary that all Spa Buzz Ambassadors approach the position with a warm, positive and diplomatic attitude
  • An enthusiastic, gracious, positive and helpful demeanor
  • Solid work ethic and do whatever it takes attitude
  • Willingness to stay aware of industry developments, locally and optimally throughout the spa industry as a whole
  • A genuine desire to assist The Spa Buzz to remain a leader in connecting professionals to better serve the spa industry
  • An altruistic desire to assist the spa industry by continually meeting spa professionals and developing relationships
  • Maintaining accurate records of spa professionals in the area and other relevant statistics (new properties and spa businesses, event attendees, etc)

The Spa Buzz is an organization that is committed to the creation of online and regionally focused groups of movers, shakers, connectors, thought leaders, innovators and visionaries in the spa industry. The Spa Buzz originated to further strengthen the spa industry by joining spa professionals together for the betterment of the spa industry as a whole.
